Former U.S secretary of state John Kerry says heFormer U.S. secretary of state and one-time Democratic presidential candidate, John Kerry, has revealed he is considering running for President in 2020.

During “A Conversation With John Kerry” at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, the 74-year-old from Massachusetts revealed this when asked about a presidential run.

“I’m thinking about how the hell to get out from under that question fast,” Kerry answered when asked if he had been considering a second presidential bid.

He then went on to explain that while he hasn’t been actively considering it, he’s “not taking anything off the table.” Read more

Nigerian man sentenced to death in Malaysia for drug traffickingA Nigerian man was sentenced to death by the High Court in KualaLumpur, Malaysia, on Friday, November 30, after he was found guilty of trafficking more than 700g of drugs into the country in May 2017.

Judge Datuk Azman Abdullah sent Sidrey Shalod Dike, 46, to the gallows after finding that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubt against the prosecution’s case.

“After examining arguments by both the defence and the prosecution, the court found that the defence failed to raise reasonable doubt and the accused is found guilty and sentenced to death,” he said. Read more

Mnangagwa willing to talk with Chamisa on one Pre-condition – Charamba

Michelle Obama’s book sells 1.4 million copies in a week

Former US first lady, Michelle Obama’s memoir “Becoming” has recorded massive sales.

Crown Publishing told The Associated Press that Michelle’s memoir has sold more than 1.4 million copies in print and digital formats in the U.S. and Canada in the seven days since it was released Nov. 13.

Based on demand from retailers across all channels, the publisher has printed 3 million hardcover copies in North America. On its first day, the book sold more than 725,000 copies, making it one of the year’s biggest debuts, according to FOX News. Read more

Oprah Winfrey’s mum dies at 83

Oprah WinfreyOprah Winfrey’s mother has passed on.

Vernita Lee, 83, died on Thanksgiving Day, November 22. The family just confirmed the death and Oprah’s niece Alisha Hayes gave a bit more detail on social media.

Vernita Lee with Vernon Winfrey had Oprah Winfrey in 1954. Because Vernita moved to Milwaukee to work as a maid, she couldn’t raise Oprah and the TV host had to be raised by her maternal grandmother. When Oprah turned 6, she moved to Milwaukee to live with her mother. Read more

Three?Chinese contractors arrested for attempting to bribe investigators in KenyaThree Chinese nationals have been charged with attempting to bribe investigators working on an alleged ticketing scam in a massive Kenyan railway project.
