Harare Mayor challenges govt to fund Harare decongestion

Image result for harare mayor gombaaHARARE mayor Herbert Gomba has challenged government to avail funds towards decongesting Harare roads, saying the situation was unattainable, with traffic accidents now rampant.

Speaking after touring road rehabilitation programmes in the city, Gomba said government should help the local authority deal with potholes and decongest traffic through the construction of traffic circles and flyovers.

“We have projects that ought to be financed by government. We are appealing to the Ministry of Transport to assist,” he said. Read more

The departure of the members literary left Mujuru with no tangible party structures in the Matabeleland region as they dumped her in a clear sign of lack of confidence in her leadership.

Speaking at the Zimbabwe Investors Forum held in New York ahead of the United Nations 73rd General Assembly in New York, Ncube said,

Zimbabwe will be joining the group of six countries which have the fastest growing economies with a growth rate of six percent per annum which comprise Rwanda, Ghana, Tanzania and Ivory Coast…We have a policy direction in terms of our visions. Read more
