THE late MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s children have reportedly been locked out of their father’s Highlands mansion by their stepmother, Elizabeth Macheka.
The children, all adults, have now relocated to Tsvangirai’s old home in Strathaven suburb, Avondale, following the burial of their father at his rural home in Buhera last Tuesday.
The former Prime Minister’s younger brother, Manase confirmed the development, but said negotiations were still in progress to resolve the dispute. Read more
President Emmerson Mnangagwa is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where he is meeting with the country’s leader Joseph Kabila.
In his absence Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga is the acting President.
Mnangagwa landed at NDjili International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. He paid tribute to the late former president Muzee Desire Laurent Kabila who was assassinated at his palace in January 2001 and is buried in a mausoleum next to state house. Read more

The Herald reports that the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) Council has suspended Vice Chancellor Professor Levi Nyagura on allegations of abuse of office after he allegedly unprocedurally awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree to former First Lady Grace Mugabe.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Pedzisai Mashiri has been appointed to act as the Vice Chancellor.
Nyagura was arrested by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) on February 16 this year. Read more

Pastor Chidebere was arraigned before a Chief magistrate court in Port Harcourt yesterday where he confessed to killing his pregnant girlfriend, Uloma Onwuagba, by strangling her.
He also told the court that his second victim, a married woman by the name Comcillia Ezewa who is a friend of his pregnant mistress, died when he hit her on the chest and she fell on the ground. Read more
New South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced his cabinet reshuffle, making substantial changes to ministerial positions.
He reappointed Nhlanhla Nene as finance minister, reversing his sacking by the former President Jacob Zuma, who is facing charges of corruption, and forced to stand down earlier this month by his own party.
Ramaphosa took over, promising a “new dawn” for the country and pledging to be tough on corruption.
“In making these changes, I have been conscious of the need to balance continuity and stability with the need for renewal, economic recovery and accelerated transformation,” Ramaphosa said, while announcing the appointments in Pretoria on Monday night. Read more

3. Coming up at the third place is Pat Robertson. Pat Robertson is a well-known televangelist in the United States. He owes his fortune to his numerous participations in companies and organizations, as well as to a private university (Regent University) that he created in 1977, which has nearly 9,000 students.
