Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton voted most admired in America in latest Gallup poll
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have been voted the most admired man and woman in the United States, according to Gallup’s annual poll.
The former president beat Donald Trump for the title with the current Commander in Chief coming in at second place.
Obama has been given the title every year since he was elected.
A total of 17 percent of respondents voted him most admired compared to the 14 percent that voted for Trump.
Trump now joins a small number of former presidents who failed to win Gallup’s most admired title while in office.
Clinton was named the most admired woman for the 16th year in a row, according to the Gallup poll results published on Wednesday.
The former Democratic presidential nominee has won the title a total of 22 times.
Michelle Obama came in at a close second.
