Victor Tamanikwa (25) was not asked to plead when he appeared before magistrate Josephine Sande charged with contravening the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) Act after allegedly leaking a 2017 “O” Level English examination paper.
He was remanded out of custody to November 28 this year.

Bonface Vutete (38) of Mberengwa, Nyashadzashe Hove (34) of Old Pumula, Timothy Munhare (31) of Entumbane, Handsome Sibanda (29) of Pumula South, Tanaka Mboti (22) and Simbarashe Tatenda Shumba (31) both of Mvuma as well as Terrence Sibanda (23) of Glen Lorne were sentenced to a combined 236 years in jail after pleading guilty to charges which included multiple counts of robbery, carjacking and possession of unlicensed firearms.

Speaker of the National Assembly Advocate Jacob Mudenda said Government has set aside $5 million for Members of Parliament as part of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Mudenda also said legislators will also get residential stands in areas of their choice.

Jah Prayzah’s manager Keen Mushapaidze confirmed the assault at the late Crispen Nyemba’s funeral in Glen Forest Memorial Park yesterday. Mashapaidze said that Jah Prayzah has since made a report to the police concerning the incident.
We had gone to pay our last respects when some mourners descended on us. We did not know that some mourners were aggrieved. We do not know whether it was because we did not contribute anything towards the funeral or it is because of how we severed ties with Crispen (Nyemba). Read more
